World Series Of Snooker 2008 (Event 2) Won By Graeme Dott

GRAEME DOTT (SCOTLAND) former World Champion (2006) beat SHAUN MURPHY (ENGLAND) former world champion (2005) 6-1 in the final at the Tempodrom in the Germany capital of Berlin, to claim Event 2 of the World Series Of Snooker 2008.

GRAEME DOTT AGE-31, drop from No.2 to No.13 in the world professional ranking this season due to personal tragedies in his life .

GRAEME DOTT beat Event 1 champion JOHN HIGGINS 5-4 in the semi final with a break of 99.

In the 1st frame of the final against SHAUN MURPHY he started with 113 break and wins the following 3 frames to lead 4-0 . SHAUN MURPHY then won his only frame on the 5th frame. GRAEME DOTT wins the following 2 frames with breaks of 78 and 68 to make it 6-1 .

Winning this World Series of Snooker (Event 2) , GRAEME DOTT has guarantee his appearance in the World Series Of Snooker finals in Dusseldorf, Germany, in November.

The 3rd of the four 2008 World Series Of Snooker events will take place in the Russian capital of Moscow on 27th-28th September 2008.
